GOLF BARENG RULES

 

1. Tee Boxes:

  • Play from the White Tee Box, unless otherwise directed to use the Blue Tee Box.

  • Senior Citizens may tee off from the Yellow/Senior Tee Box.

2. Equipment:

  • Only use USGA-compliant clubs.

  • A maximum of 14 clubs is allowed in your bag.

3. Relief and Penalties:

  • When taking relief, use your longest club (excluding the putter).

  • Unplayable Ball in Bunker:

    • In a wet or unmaintained bunker: You may take the ball out of the bunker using the back-on-the-line option without penalty.

    • In a well-maintained bunker: You may take the ball out of the bunker using the back-on-the-line option for a 2-stroke penalty.

4. Ball Lost or Out of Bounds (OB):

  • 1-stroke penalty for a lost ball.

  • 2-stroke penalty for a ball out of bounds.

5. Search Time:

  • You have 3 minutes to search for a lost ball.

6. Scoring:

  • Net Score Golf Tournament format is applied.

  • The maximum score per hole is a triple bogey.

  • Par or better must be putted, regardless of the distance to the hole.

  • Other putts are determined by group consensus.

  • At least one person must keep score on the GC scorecard (paper-based).

  • At the end of the game, all players must sign the scorecard.

  • Scores entered into the app will only be based on the signed scorecard.

7. Tournament Results:

  • All players are expected to attend the tournament results announcement.

  • If a winner is absent, the next best score will replace them.

Handicap (HC) Rules and Adjustments :

​

  • HC is based on the recorded HC in the GB App.

  • HC will be adjusted based on the Monthly Medal Scorecard as follows:

    • If you win the Monthly Medal (1st Place only) and your Net Score is under par:

      • Net Score 1-2 under par: HC reduced by 1.

      • Net Score 3-4 under par: HC reduced by 2.

      • Net Score 5 or more under par: HC reduced by 3.

Golf Bareng Playoff :

​

​The GB Playoff adopts a points system to the FedEx Cup, rewarding players for their performance throughout the GB Tour season. This system assigns starting points for the top 30 players entering the GB Championship, providing higher-seeded players with a head start based on their season-long achievements. The player with the most points begins with a 10-under handicap while players in his pursuit can rank anywhere from 8-under to even par.

Here is the full handicap system:

  1. 1-seed: (10 under)

  2. 2-seed: (8 under)

  3. 3-seed: (7 under)

  4. 4-seed: (6 under)

  5. 5-seed: (5 under)

  6. Seeds 6-10: (4 under)

  7. Seeds 11-15: (3 under)

  8. Seeds 16-20: (2 under)

  9. Seeds 21-25: (1 under)

  10. Seeds 26-30: (par)
